An ENOSPC: no space left on device error means that your sandbox has exhausted its available storage. Sandbox filesystem storage is in memory by default for optimal speed, so storage needs count against the memory allocation.

Increase memory allocation

A sandbox’s memory allocation covers both runtime memory and filesystem storage. Increase the allocation to provide more storage space. This is the recommended short-term solution.
If the sandbox logs contain Out of memory: Killed process, the sandbox exceeded its memory allocation and needs more memory.
Increasing memory also increases CPU allocation:
  • 8 GB of memory provides 4 CPU cores
  • 16 GB of memory provides 8 CPU cores

Use a volume

If files alone require more than 4 GB, use a volume for larger, persistent storage. A volume may provide slower filesystem performance than the default in-memory storage.

Sandbox volumes

Add persistent storage to a sandbox.
